The 1st Responders Car Show will be made up of vehicles and personnel from all over Washington County. The 1st Responders Show will be placed in the west parking lot of the Washington Community Center adjacent to the fields of Washington Elementary. The entrance on the east end of the school fields will allow the public to go between the two shows. This part of parking lot will be coned off for emergency vehicles and manned by Security Staff to allow emergency vehicles to respond to any calls. 1st Responders Units come from Washington City Police and Fire Departments, St George Police and Fire Departments, Washington County Sheriff, Santa Clara-Ivins Police and Fire Departments, Hurricane and La Verkin Police Departments, Gold Cross Ambulance, Utah Highway Patrol, 341st and 222nd National Guard Units, and Washington County Search and Rescue. New agencies that want to join this year’s show are Enterprise Fire Department, Home Land Security, Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association, Lincoln County Sheriff, and Cedar City Police Department.

The “All Heroes Walk” is a chance for the public to meet with the Heroes of our Community, the 1st Responders of Washington County. It is our goal to team up the 1st Responders with members of the community (especially children with special needs) and walk around the track at Washington Elementary in celebration of the 1st Responders service to our community. The track will resemble a first class run with a start/finish line, stage, vendors and exhibitors for families and participants. Our goal is to use the walk as a way of introducing those with Autism, Alzheimer’s, and Dementia to our local police departments and community that work with Project Lifesaver.
